$PROPOLIS

$PROPOLIS is the second way to pay for tokens. Burning it mints tokens without mining; the burn is public, the spending stays private.

Burn to mint

Send $PROPOLIS to 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD, then present the transaction hash with blinded token requests. The issuer reads the receipt on Robinhood Chain, adds up the $PROPOLIS transferred to the dead address in that transaction, and signs one token per burn unit. Each transaction hash works once. 100% of the burned $PROPOLIS is gone for good.

The burn is public, like the mining. What you then do with the tokens is not: a burned token and a mined token are the same kind of Privacy Pass token, and neither carries anything that points back to the payment.

The burn call

json
POST /api/v1/burn
{ "txHash": "0x…", "keyId": "<keyId>", "requests": ["<b64url TokenRequest>", "…"] }

GET /api/v1/burn returns the amount of $PROPOLIS per token. Until the token is live the route answers 503 not_live. Agents with a wallet use propolis.burn() in the SDK.

Where fees go

Creator fees from $PROPOLIS trading pay for the model and GPU time behind the relay. The relay's daily model budget is what those fees buy.
